General Rules

  • Limit of 1 entry per category. Feels only fair to limit it that way.

  • Limit of 1MB per entry, preferably png or jpg, with jpg often resulting in better file sizes, while png retains quality.
  • We are trying to avoid AI or photoshopped imagery when possible for actual entries, if you can identify artificial imagery, please send Urban an email regarding the concerned entry.

  • Submit Photos to me through the Contact button at the bottom of the site, or by the button below; attaching the photos to be used, and give me the file name of what categories the photo(s) are to be used for.

  • Also- please enter your subject as "Submission for Gallery" in your email.

  • Upload / Submit
  • Category Rules

For the general rules, observe the left sidebar, as that also contains the upload or submission method, of which is attaching the photo(s) to be used through an email message.

Below are the more relevant rules to each topic/category of photos. When submitting a photo, please adhere to the rules provided for the relevant categories. The rules are also depicted on the Voting page for voters to refer to. If a voter finds a submission has been artificially made, does not fit the appropriate category, or violates a rule, please inform Urban.

    Food Rules

  • Must contain actual food within the imagery.

  • The object of food must be a subject of focus in the shot, not an element of a different scene or context.
  • Natural Rules

  • Must contain a majority of nature, or natural environments, within the imagery.

  • The imagery of nature must be the subject of focus in the shot, not an element of a different scene or focus.

  • Ideally, there is little to no manufactured elements, such as buildings, within the shot, with less than a 1/4th of the shot being allowed to be nature.

  • Gardens are allowed, but must adhere to the 'no manufactured elements' rule.

  • City Rules

  • Must contain a majority of nature, or natural environments, within the imagery.

  • The imagery of a city would be identified in this case as non-indoor elements of a city, such as city parks, streets, street art, buildings, etc.
